2020 College Scholarship Application
The Atlanta CPCU Society Chapter
The Atlanta CPCU Society Chapter is pleased to sponsor up to two $2,500 college scholarships for the 2021 school year.
To apply for this scholarship students must meet at least one of the following criteria:
· Undergraduate student who is the relative of an active Atlanta CPCU Chapter member or candidate members, regardless of chosen major.
· Any undergraduate student majoring in Risk Management and Insurance who is not a relative of an active Chapter member or candidate member and is a resident in the CPCU Southeast Chapter Governor’s region (Atlanta, Central Alabama, North Alabama, Great Smoky Mountains, Middle Georgia and Mid-Tennessee).
All college scholarship recipients must plan to attend or are currently attending a four-year college or university accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of business (AACSB). Current college students must have at least one semester remaining in 2021.
Process and Selection
All scholarship applications will be reviewed and scholarships will be awarded by the Atlanta CPCU Chapter Scholarship Committee and Executive Leadership Board. Applicants will be evaluated based upon their academic record, honors, awards, extracurricular activities, volunteer activities, and the quality of their essay. Recipients will be announced and honored at the October CPCU Atlanta Chapter Meeting.
Active Chapter members or candidate members are defined as having dues paid in full for the current year (2020).

Completed applications for the 2020 awards are due no later than September 10, 2020 and can be emailed to email@example.com.
