Recent headlines are sobering: At least 530 confirmed and probable cases of vaping-related illness in 38 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with seven deaths. While relatively small numbers at present, a huge pool of potential victims exists within the estimated 10.8 million people in the United States who admit to vaping. Some surveys have found a much higher number of individuals, particularly youths, using e-cigarettes.
