
The Atlanta CPCU College Scholarship Foundation will provide two, $1000, awards to the children of active Atlanta Chapter members. Recipients will be chosen by an independent selection committee based on GPA, Extracurricular activities and a short essay on an assigned topic. Each award is to assist with College expenses and the recipients will be asked to provide proof of enrollment as a full time student in a four year college or university. The applicant can be an incoming freshman or a returning student.
An active Chapter member is defined as dues paid in full for the current year.
Completed Applications for the 20010/2011 school year are due no later than 4-11-10, and should be emailed to Larry Long, CPCU. The recipients will be announced by 5-1-10 and presented at the 5-11-10 Chapter Meeting at Villa Christina.
Essay Topic:
What can we do as individual citizens to encourage bi-partisan cooperation in Congress and the White House to help solve America’s daunting problems? The essay should be at least 100 words but no more than 300.
