
We are excited to announce the first two recipients of the Atlanta Chapter’s $1,000. scholarship awards! The first recipient is Breana Ware of Duluth, GA who is completing her Freshmen year at Boston College in Pre-Law. She is a graduate of Marist High School with a 4.10 GPA and was chosen for Who’s Who in American High Schools. Breana is a member of the World Leadership Congress in Washington, DC, the National Honor Society and a National Merit Scholar. She was also active in the Generation Choir, a Church Youth Coordinator, a Marist School Camp Counselor and was a receptionist at Ware & Associates, PC.
The second recipient is Ashley Singleton of Atlanta, GA who is graduating from Lakeside High School with a 3.51 GPA and will attend Auburn University as a Pre-Pharmacy major. Ashley was a member of the Varsity Volleyball team where she received the County Best Defensive Player Award for 2007 and the Coaches Award for 2006. She also received the Academic Achievement Award for Interior Design and has been a Dancer for the Atlanta Tap and Ballet Company for several years. Ashley worked for Cancer Quest, a cancer research group, at Emory University and was a member of World Changers Ministries in Indianapolis, Cleveland and Beaufort, SC. She was also active in the Puppetry Ministry at Briar Lake Baptist church in Atlanta.
Congratulations to both of these outstanding young ladies and we know their CPCU parents are very proud.
